The S+B team took a bite out of the Big Apple at New York Bridal Fashion Week.

We returned to NYBFW aka Bridal Market – and boy, did it feel good! Bridal Market is our opportunity to shop ’til we drop – meeting designers from every corner as they showcase their latest collections. And while there is no shortage of amazing gowns coming to S+B, there were definitely a few top trends that stood out. Take a look below and let us know what trend you’re excited to see at S+B in the near future.

Drop + Basque Waist

Did someone say princess? This dropped and basque waist trend is fully leaning into the princess vibes for your wedding! We love this gorgeous detail on its own but if you want to take it a step further, some designers are experimenting with more exaggerated silhouettes!

Accordion Skirts

For brides looking to add texture and movement, accordion skirts are stealing the show! These skirts bring a playful yet sophisticated vibe, with their pleats adding dynamic flow to every step. Whether you’re after a minimalist gown or something more dramatic, these skirts offer a versatile option that’s both timeless and fashion-forward.

Classic Lace

We know you’ve been asking for it and who doesn’t love classic lace? We love floral lace just as much as the next person, but there’s something about this classic style that we’ve been loving on just a little extra. These were all over NYBFW and we’re obsessed with this resurgance of a quintessential fabric!

Two Pieces

One stand-out trend making a serious resurgence at this year’s bridal market is the two-piece ensemble! Brides are embracing the mix-and-match concept, pairing soft, ethereal skirts with more structured, tailored bodices for a look that’s both playful and polished. This modern twist on a past favorite allows for endless customization—whether you’re opting for a romantic tulle skirt or a sleek satin one, there’s something for every style. The beauty of two-pieces lies in their versatility; they offer brides the freedom to mix different textures and silhouettes, creating a truly unique bridal look. What goes around truly comes back around, and we couldn’t be more excited about it!

Architectural Details

For the ultimate ‘cool-girl’ bridal look, this year’s market delivered gowns with striking structural elements and architectural details. Gathered skirts, exaggerated bodices, and sharp lines were everywhere, offering a fresh, fashion-forward twist on traditional bridal styles. Think oversized bows, asymmetrical draping, and sculptural silhouettes that feel both modern and elegant. These bold designs are perfect for the bride looking to make a statement, and we’re obsessed with how they’re pushing bridal fashion forward!
